How To Guide for Choosing the Right Resource for Your Child

How To Guide for Choosing the Right Resource for Your Child

Research shows that a large percentage of children learn in right-brained, visual, and kinesthetic ways, while  our traditional classrooms are designed for the minority of our children who happen to be left-brain dominant learners.

One way to insure success for right-brained learners is by using multi-sensory materials from the very beginning. Doing so will also provide much-needed helps for those children who are struggling.

Comments that we hear often are written below in orange, and our recommendations are arranged by educational setting.

If you have additional questions, please call us (800-881-0912) or email. We would love to talk with you.

My child needs to learn sounds

Since words are made of sounds, it is essential to have a solid foundation in letter/sound relationships. Frequently, vowel sounds present the biggest difficulty.

reviewing sounds and their spelling patterns

One of the main reasons children struggle with reading is that they are unaware of the patterns in spelling that are found in the words in our language. Boost their phonics skills and their spelling at one time.

right-brained sight words

It is as though he/she's never seen them before.

My child tries to sound out every word he/she comes to.

Many children can't "just remember" words. They need a visual or body movement (or both) to help them remember. Using SnapWords® will not only smooth this out, but will also greatly enhance reading comprehension!
