How it Works
Embark on a journey of discovery with SnapWords® Math Vocabulary. Begin by exploring the words together for the first time, allowing children to share their observations about the accompanying pictures.
Engage in discussions about word features like double letters or recognizable "chunks." To enhance understanding, use each word in a sentence and incorporate related body motions suggested on the backs of the cards.
During subsequent encounters with the words, encourage children to spend time independently, visually and verbally engaging with the words. Motivate them to use the suggested motions or invent their own.
As familiarity grows, transition to the plain printed side of the cards, identifying words recognized on sight and revisiting others using the stylized sides for reinforcement. This interactive approach ensures a dynamic and effective learning experience for mastering math vocabulary.
