About Set B
Closed caption transcript
“Children enjoy reading when they are successful. Children find reading hard work when they don’t have the necessary skills. We teach the necessary skills before they read so they are successful on their first attempt. Because we teach all the ways you can spell each sound, children are prepared to successfully decode unknown words.
“Easy-for-Me™ Readers are designed to prevent reading struggles before they start!
“We started with what we know about why children struggle with reading, and designed a series of readers that takes all that into account. Easy-for-Me™ Set B builds on what children learned in Set A. Behind each engaging storyline lies growth in essential reading skills.
“Set B teaches more complex sound spellings, includes explicit phonics instruction, adds 59 new SnapWords®, includes phonemic awareness activities, and focuses on reading comprehension.
“We begin by reviewing the basic sounds learned in Set A readers, then move into teaching long vowel spellings, R-controlled vowels, and branch out to include digraphs and diphthongs, and provide practice in decoding new words.
“Most importantly, the final 3 books review all the skills learned in Set B. By this point, your students understand what reading is, have strong basic skills, and feel confident that they can read.
“Empower your children! Start today.”
